If I wear contact lenses do I still need reading glasses?
Presbyopics that wear contact lenses have three choices to correct their near vision. These are reading glasses, monovision, and bifocal contact lenses. Monovision and bifocal contact lenses sound attractive because when they work they free the individual from relying on reading glasses. Unfortunately, many patients are not successful with those options and the majority of presbyopic contact lens wears still must rely on reading glasses.
